Most of us Libels student knows about the furballs who likes to strut on the canteen premises. Unlike other animals, these furry creatures love to annoy the students and canteen workers with their constant meowing. All they want is one thing and one thing only, to acquire the human’s decent food. Using their cuteness and well-planned strategy that we don’t know, they could easily obtain your meal and attention.

From the large, dark-furred, calm female cat to the biggest coward of them all, the orange cat, every cat has a name. For example, the dark-furred female cat who everyone claimed to be owned by Mrs. Sai, is called Simba. There’s also an orange cat who only likes to approach boys and seeks their attention, Niko. And the most legendary cat who we all know, a female calico whose hobby is to reproduce kittens, with the name Nur.

As said by Sayed, a senior year student, canteen cats bring joy to the school. He loves to pet these quirky animals when he visits the canteen. As a cat lover, he enjoys the company of these cats while he’s eating. He also often gives the cats a piece of his food. But, sometimes the cats like to ignore it, or just stare at it. And that annoys him the most.

Another senior year student named Natasya claimed that the presence of these awkward creatures often makes her day even brighter than before. She loves it when one of the cats bump into her feet when she’s sitting at the canteen. She would pick it up and pet the little thing. Her favorite cat is Simba, because it is believed that Simba is the calmest cat on canteen.

Aside from the cat lovers, there are also the cat haters. These kind of person won’t like it if you hand them the canteen cats. As an example, a senior year student named Alfina always screams when a cat approaches her. "EEK! Get that thing away from me!" she says when her friends brought Niko to class.

Well, cats aren't for all of us. But for those who really like cats would be amused by their existence and would probably make their school days better. A message to all of us, please share at least a tiny piece of love to them. If you can't, then please, don't abuse them. It's not their fault if they made a mistake for they can't think like a human.
