Libels Voice is one of many extracurriculars in SMAN 15 Surabaya, which is engaged in art. Libels Voice or commonly called Livo is a choir extracurricular. Livo is also one of the oldest extracurricular in Libels, until now there are 14 generations.

“Livo is a place to develop talents, especially in the field of singing. But not only singing, Livo teach us to socialize with others which eventually makes Livo as the second family for its members” said Joyceline Eunike as the current Chairman.

In addition to active for the school's internal activities, Livo also often participated in both national and international competitions. They just won the competition in Budapest, Hungary. They got 1st Champion Folklore Category also 2nd place for Mixed Youth Category and 3rd place for Equal Category.

Livo always have different big agenda each year. “For the big agenda ahead, Livo will join an international competition for the 4th time, it’s Singapore International Choir Festival in July-Agusuts 2020” said Joy. If last April Gandara Acintya I just got back from Budapest, then there will be an audition for Gandara Acintya II that next year will go to Singapore.

“Next year we will compete in Singapore, following 2 events, 13th Orientale Concentus and 7th Singapore International Choir Festival” said Azik Mubarak as the Music Director.

For this time Libels Voice join International Competition in a row, according to the Music Director, “The schedule for going abroad must be once every 2 years, next year should be local competition, but because there is an urge from the school that is also urged by the parents to give opportunity to their children to be able to feel the competition abroad. Finally we decided to try to participate in the competition in Singapore”.

In Livo they are not only learn about music but also about teamwork and discipline, as well as how to cut each ego for one common goal.
