Jack Armstrong was a young boy in high school, seeking adventure. But little did he know, his dreams would come true and he would become a hero!

Chapter 1: Going on an adventure!

Jack: Hey guys.

Stacy: Hey Jack.

Andrew: Hey Jack. Why the long face?

Jack: I just want to have an adventure of a lifetime.

Andrew: Jack, we’ve known each other since kinder garden, and you tell me the same thing every time! Not to mention when we made friends with Stacy, you started telling her!

Jack: You’re right. I’ll start talking about it less.

Andrew: No, that’s not the point. The point is that you should just go out there and find adventure instead of waiting for it to come! Because it might not come.

Jack: Of course! Why didn’t I think of that? And school just ended, this is perfect! C’mon guys, are you with me or not?

Andrew: Sure, count me in.

Stacy: Uh, sure why not?

Jack: Let’s go explore, uh, let’s do that cave by the cliff with the river where Brad had his birthday party.

Stacy: Oh yeah, I always wondered what was in there.

Andrew: Wow, me too.

Jack: Do you think we should invite more people though?

Andrew: What about Brad himself?

Jack: Uh, okay what the heck.

*Jack walks up to Brad*

Jack: Hey Brad.

Brad: Oh, hey Jack. Didn’t see you there. What’s up?

Jack: Andrew, Stacy and I want to explore the cave near the cliff with the river where you had your birthday. Wanna come?

Brad: Sick, let’s go. I did wonder what was in there.

Jack: Okay, but can we take your car?

Brad: How else would we go?

Jack: Fair point. Let’s go.

*Jack and the gang drive to the cliff*

Chapter 2: The mysterious cave...

Jack: Here we are.

Brad: Nice, this reminds me of when I told my friends a big foot story by the river and then scared them with my big foot costume.

Jack: Yeah, and I was the one in the bushes rattling them.

Brad: Hah, good times.

Stacy: Stop, we’re getting side track. Let’s get a move on.

Jack: Oh right, sorry.

*Jack and his friends walk up to the cave*

Jack: I can’t believe it, I’m having an adventure, the last “adventure” I had was in the 2nd grade when I pretended my bed was a sail boat.

Brad: Yeah, I always wanted to explore this cave. I always had dreams that random unknown species of whatever lived here.

Jack: Well it’s now or never, let’s go.

*Jack and his friends walk in the cave with flashlights*

Jack: We gotta get out of here by curfew, A.K.A at 06:00 PM for dinner, everyone set your timers.

*everyone sets their timers*

Andrew: There are 2 tunnels, who should go with who?

Jack: Okay, I’ll go with Brad and Andrew, you go with Stacy. Agree?

Everyone at once: Agree.

Jack: Alright, let’s go.

*They split up*

*Loud bang*

Jack: Woah, what was that?

Brad: Just a boulder. At least, I hope.

Jack: Wait a minute, that wasn’t a boulder.

Brad: Than what was it?!

Jack: I-I don’t know, but it’s stomping.

Brad: That-that could only mean one thing..

Both at once: A giant!

Chapter 3: The Giant!

*Switches to Andrew and Stacy’s tunnel*

Andrew: Wait, is it just me or I heard Brad and Jack just scream out loud: “A giant!”?

Stacy: Oh no, we better get to them!

*Andrew and Stacy run to Brad and Jack’s tunnel*

Jack: Oh m-m-my g-g-god.

Brad: W-w-what??

Jack: L-l-l-l-look up..

Brad: What do you mean look up?..

Jack: Just-just look.

*Brad looks up*

Brad: Oh no! A giant! Run Jack, we have to run!

Jack: Okay!

*Both of them running to the end of their tunnel*

*Jack and Brad bump into Andrew and Stacy*

Jack: Guys, a giant! We have to get out of here!

*Jack gets picked up by a giant*

Andrew: Jack! We’re coming!

Giant: *roar*

Jack: Just leave, I’ll waste your time!

Andrew: No! We are not leaving without you and that’s on period!

*Jack tries to escape by pushing out*

*Jack accidentally tickles the giant*

Andrew: Don’t worry, we’ll catch you!

Jack: Oof!

Andrew: Oh my god, are you okay? I’m so sorry!

Jack: Never mind that now, the only thing we should be doing now is running!

*The friends run back into the town*

*The giant follow’s them*

Chapter 4: The quarrel...

Jack: It’s following us! We have no choice, we have to lead them out of town!

*The friends leave the town*

Brad: Are you stupid? Our homes, school, we need to go back to the town!

Jack: No, we can’t endanger the town!

*The friends hide under a cliff*

Brad: We wouldn’t endanger the town if you didn’t go on this stupid “adventure”!

Jack: I will fix this I promise!

Brad: What? By going on another adventure, dragging us with you and getting into more danger?

Jack: Brad-

Brad: Don’t “Brad” me! I’m going home!

Jack: But the giants!

Brad: Idiot! I can just tip-toe back home! Have fun camping with stupid giants on your tail.

*Timers beep*

Jack: Brad look out!

Brad: Aaah!

*Giant picks up Brad and brings him back to cave*

Jack: We have to get him!

Stacy: Are you insane? Do you not remember what he just said to you?

Jack: In fact Stacy, yes I do. But that won’t stop me from saving my friend.

*switches to the cave*

Brad: Help! Someone please!

Giant: Be quiet! No one will save you now! And no one can save you now!

Brad: You could speak English the whole time?

Giant: Yes, and you disturbed my nap! Now, pay the price!

*Jack and his friends run back to the town*

Chapter 5: Warn the town!

Jack: Mom, dad it’s an emergency!

Jack’s mom: What is it dear?

Jack: I went adventuring.

Jack’s dad: That’s great son! What’s the problem with that?

Jack: The problem is that I found a giant! And it took my friend, Brad!

Jack’s dad: Oh my god!

Jack: Yeah! We have to save him! Andrew and Stacy are getting their parents and people in the town, while I’m still explaining.

Jack’s parents at once: Good, we’ll help too.

Jack: C’mon, the giants are in the cave near the cliff with the river where Brad had his birthday party! The towns people, Andrew and Stacy are also gonna be there.

*They run to the center of town*

John: Jack!

Jack: John!

John: What in the name of fairy tales is going on?

Jack: Listen John, we have to stop those giants before they come to the town!

John: I know but, how? They’re giants, which means they’re huge!

Jack: But I have a plan.

*Jack goes to the center of the crowd*

Jack: Listen up people, the giants have my friend so we need to defend ourselves!

Someone from crowd: But how? They’re huge!

Jack: Alright, here’s my plan.

*Switches to giant’s cave*

Brad: Please let me go!

Giant: What are you gonna do about it? Cry like a baby? Boo-hoo. Ha ha ha!

*Brad wiggles his hand, tickling the giant*

*Brad runs back to the town*

Jack: Wait a minute, Brad? How did you escape?

Brad: How you escaped.

Jack: Okay, I told the town my plan and this just makes it easier for us.

Brad: What’s the plan?

Jack: We distract the giants, well we were gonna free you but you freed yourself so that makes it easier for us, and then the towns people shake the cliff making the boulders crash onto the ground blocking the entrance to the cave.

Brad: Smart! Let’s go, there’s no time to waste!

Jack; Okay, everyone grab your rocks! No matter how big or how small! It doesn’t matter now, all that matters is stopping those giants!

Chapter 6: Town vs Giant!

*Switches to giant’s cave*

Giant: Ooh! I smell fresh meat!

Jack: Everyone, I hear them. Throw your rocks on 3. 1..

Giant: *roars*

Jack: 2..

Giant: Let’s rumble, you stupid humans!

Jack: 3!

*Towns people and Jack throw rocks at the giants*

Giant: Ow! I gotta get back in the cave!

*Giant runs back inside the cave*

Jack: Everybody get up there! Quickly before it comes back out!

*Towns people and Jack run up to the cliff*

Jack: Everyone jump!

*Towns people and Jack jumping on the cliff*

Andrew: Look! Those boulders are falling!

Jack, Stacy, Andrew and Brad at the same time: Everybody jump off!

*Everyone jumps off*

*Boulders fall in front of the cave entrance*

Chapter 7: Hooray for Jack!

A few hours later

Cop: Good job Jack! You saved the town and your friend Brad.

Jack: What can I say? I was all up for adventure.

Andrew: Hey Jack, wanna explore the house in the woods?

Jack: Maybe next week.

Stacy: Why?

Brad: Yeah, you were the one that said: “I’m all up for adventure” or whatever.

Jack: Yeah, but I’m a bit tired of adventuring for one day.

*Evil cackling sound*

Jack: You know, on second thought let’s just go.
