Saman queen is one of the extracurriculars in SMAN 15 Surabaya that has existed since 2008. currently saman queen is chaired by Naila Nirmala, consisting of Alka, Bella, Fahira, Icha, Syifa, Alya, Muthia, Firza, Nabila, Zian, Nisya, Alya, and Regina. This extracurricular is called Saman Queen because all of its members are women and every appearance always wears a crown. Saman queen is usually invited to appear on campus events or corporate events, such as appearing at Bank Indonesia, DBL, UNAIR law faculty, weddings, and halal bihalal companies. with an appearance duration of approximately 10 minutes. Saman queen's routine training schedule every Friday and Saturday, at the SMAN 15 Surabaya mosque. while to fill the event, they practice every day before filling the event and practice in the class of members of the same when returning from school. they practice independently without a coach and only rely on youtube. Their preparation when they get a sudden invitation is to use the coreography they used before, because it is not possible to make new movements. there are many coreography, but one of them is HAILA OTSAH, movements like making waves. On August 24, 2019, saman queen appeared to accompany the women's basketball team when competing at DBL ARENA. at first they were afraid, because their appearance was contrary to other schools. But with a duration of 3 minutes they look stunning in front of the audience, to make them more confident. to support the appearance, Saman Queen has a costume that amounts to 6 pairs of clothes, 3 songkets, 3 crowns, 2 belts, as well as makeup such as eye shadow, lipstick, blushon, and mascara. all costumes and make-up can be purchased from job cash. said the chairman's naila. The reason Naila herself joined Saman Queen was because she rarely went to school in Surabaya and she had an Saman dance extracurricular and she was impressed. She hopes that Saman Queen is more accomplished, better known not only in Surabya but to East Java, has many variations of movements, and is more compact.
