Libels has an extracurricular performance featuring traditional Acehnese dance, it is the saman dance. Extracurricular activities that preserve Indonesian culture are known as Saman queen.

Saman queen was founded in 2008, and there are now 11th generations. The 11th generation consists of 14 members who are all women. They are 12 dancers namely Naila, Alka, Shifa, Alya, Fahira, Bella, Icha, Muthia, Firza, and Zian, Alya and Regina, 1 sheikh / singer namely Nabila, and 1 drum player, who name is Nisya.

This year Saman queen received invitations to attend events on various occasions, there are event of gathering to forgiving each other, wedding events, campus events, and many more. Saman queen also often fills events in various SMAN 15 Surabaya activities, one of which is LEO2k19 activities. Saman queen has always been a spectacle that all libels have been waiting for. Their performances always succeed in inviting pleasure and admiration from the citizens of libels.

Once performed they will dance 8 until 11 movements in 9 to 12 minutes duration. And every movement is accompanied by a different song. The most iconic movements are the Haila Otsah movements, where they form waves. And the Saman drum movement, this movement is not accompanied by songs, they move on the dancer's applause and only accompanied by the strains of the drum.

On November 15th , 2019, they will be performing at SMAN 15 Surabaya. They have an external event, the Libels Party, or what we usually call Liberty.

"To perform at Liberty 2019, we do routine training every day after returning from school." said Nabila.
