Recently, SMAN 15 Surabaya made an activity called Friday Blessing. What is Friday Blessing? Friday Blessing is a social activity that the community of libels always holds on Friday every week. This activity aims to raise a sense of concern to the others.

"This event is held every Friday, usually those who donate foods are parents, libels' teachers, and libels' students. But if the community surrounds libels also wants to participate to donate food, it is also allowed," said Mr. Nanang, one of SMAN 15 Surabaya's teacher.

On every Friday morning a shelf will be prepared in front of the school gate to put food to be donated. Then people who want to donate can immediately arrange food on the shelf.

People who are entitled to receive food are those who need it, including pedicab drivers, cleaning workers, homeless people, etc.

This social activity named Friday Blessing certainly is a good activity and must be maintained, because it had positive impact to raise empathy.
