[1/10] Exactly 2 months ago, on August 30–31, 2019, the Soekarno-Fatmawatti Ambalan Scouting, SMAN 15 Surabaya, held a camp. This campsite is often known as Ambalan Guest Reception (in indonesian Penerimaan Tamu Ambalan (PTA)).

PTA is an annual program that must be followed by all students in grade X. The goal is to induct them into the official scout members SMAN 15 Surabaya.

The PTA was started with an opening ceremony led by Mr. Zaenal as the deputy head of the school for student affairs, SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya, followed by an introductory session by the supervisors and the committee.

Then the event was replaced with a material session. In the process of delivering the material is not done in the same direction, but students are also required to think critically about the surrounding social problems. This is intended so that students become sensitive between individuals when they are in the community later.

Not only that, the excitement of the event continued until dawn began to sink. After completing dinner, the students were directed to the volleyball court to prepare an art performance by going around the campfire. Bonfire is the highlight of the event in the implementation of PTA every year.

Various unique performances presented by these younger siblings, wow, how creative!

The official inauguration ceremony was held just before dawn. This aims to make the ceremony more orderly and avoid hot weather.

In the morning, students are invited to play many exciting and challenging games that involve physical movement. From these games not only excitement can be taken, but also meaningful lessons from each game. Like, learn to practice teamwork, learn to communicate something, and learn to control emotions.

Apparently, the implementation of PTA 2019 is very interesting! A big thank you to the organizing committees and the supervisors from SMAN 15 Surabaya who have successfully held this camp.
