Do you know that today, the average global temperature on earth has increased by about 0,8 degrees Celsius, I know it doesn't sound a lot but that one degree rise had made our environment a lot worse compared to our environment couple years ago. We know that today the ice at the north and south pole had melt and cause our sea level rise, and this could be a bad thing for coastal cities like Jakarta and Surabaya because they will have a high risk to get flooded.

One of the things that caused this global warming happen is trash. According to research each person produce about 1569.5 pounds trashes per day, and of that 260 millions tons of plastic produces each year, about 10% ends up in the oceans, which can be harmfull for the marine ecosystem.

Because of these problem my school SMA 15 Surabaya, had an initiative to make our environment cleaner by adding more trash bin and hire some outsource ( office boy ) to clean up our school environment, and this initiative had already show some good result. According to madam Seh who is one of the people that responsible for our school environment said that now the environment of libels is a lot cleaner compere to couple years ago before there was outsource(office boy) at this school. Madam seh, also point out that her initiative to adding more trash bin in canteen and one bin for each classes had make a good result. Now our canteen is a lot cleaner, and from my own experience at the end of school day, there aren’t many trashes at my class right now compere to years ago before this initiative were implemented. But obviously this initiative won’t be work without the collaboration between students and teachers. We need to work as a team to make all of this things happen.

Right now libels has greener and cleaner environment thanks to the contribution for each person at libels who is care about the problem the world are facing right know, and hopefully from this one simple thing we made. We can change the faith of our future world and can live happily long after.

Before I end this article I have some massage for you dear reader. We are the one who determine the future of our world, and we can do it from simple things. Put your trash inside trash bin, use less plastic bag and try to walk some near destination instead of using your motorcycle. All of this might be insignificant things to do, but if everyone does it, the impact will be significant for the world.
