Chapter 5: Getting Started

So, it’s the next day and I have not even a nanometer of spirit. I played my phone because there was no other stuff that I could do that intrigued me. I had breakfast, but I wasn’t sure where did I eat at, but I’m pretty sure that I ate breakfast either outside or at home.

Either way, after that, I, I mean ‘we’, my parents and I have a lot of stuff to do. We should buy the fridge, Buy a TV, and, most importantly, acquire a Wi-Fi router for the unlimited high-speed internet I’ve always dreamt about. But while being told back in Malaysia that the internet speed was about 100 Megabytes per second, I was told that it was going to be half the desired speed, or around 50 Megabytes per second, considering that the building is not capable of an internet speed of 100 Mbps due to the aging of the building. But, after through some thinking, I finally said “It still worth it, right? Well, at least it’s not 1 or 10 Mbps, which is super slow.” And at around 1:00 PM, the technician arrived to set up the Wi-Fi. It didn’t take long before the Wi-Fi to be set up, at around 30 minutes, to be set. I expected the setup process to be an hour or longer, but it turned out that it was quite a lot quicker. Anyways, the Wi-Fi is activated. “Free high-speed internet, here I come!” I said.

So the only problem is, my PS4 is worthless if no TV is available. Of course, there is one available at home, but that one was used for watching entertainment purposes, so I can’t plug the cable off and set it onto my PS4. So I needed my own TV. So the following day I bought the TV at the nearest supermarket, along with the refrigerator and other stuff. My mom said that this would be my birthday gift, although my birthday is like, weeks away and nonetheless accepted it as my birthday present anyway. After that, I could play my PS4 all day now, but there was something missing in the PS4: a new game. So, logically, I would ask my dad to buy a new video game for me. He said yes, but at the cost of my money, which is a lot at the time. To do that, I was joining my parents in the quest to prepare for everything, but my main goal was to buy another super duper awesome game. And buy it I did. It was a fortune, but at least I got a new game, despite it being you know, second-hand. It’s called Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. It was really cool when I first tried it. The first part is the Battle of Thermopylae, or also known as the Battle of 300. It’s cool, so I played the game till nighttime. I was told to sleep by my mom, big surprise, considering that she was ‘really’ worried about my health, so I brushed my teeth, and slept. The praying part I did it in between the brushing-the-teeth part and the sleeping part.
