Chapter 12: Camping, Part 2

Ok, so I woke up, and I guess you know where this is going, huh? Anyway, after all those stuff, I got a ‘passport’ that was given to me just the previous day. It does look like a passport, only thing is that the ‘passport’ contained info on the routine, daily activities that we’re going to participate.

I remember walking for a long time before getting to the destination. We departed at around 8:30 something. We have to sit in a place and wait there for a few minutes before walking again. It was exhausting, but as usual, we made it. I remember this time when our camping contingent is tasked with tying a rope around the intersections of a bamboo structure, and after doing that, we watched people use catapults, including one from ours, throw dirtbags at a certain distance. But while watching that, I got a little drowsy and I fell asleep. At least it felt like a good night sleep, without the hot sun thing.

After that, we lined up in the open field in the place and the coordinators told us to go back to our respective camps and take a break. After that, we continued to do strenuous walks for about half an hour before we did a field trip. It was tiring, with the hot sun accompanying us. We finally did the walks and we went back to camp and took a much-needed break.

After our break, we-we're told that we have to do a performance. I was at a loss for words. I also got disappointed though. But, again, my gut tells me to go with the flow. Then, we walked to an open field somewhat suitable for soccer, but with poles all over the place for decoration so it’s not entirely possible to play soccer. So anyway, we’re here to perform, but somehow someone just basically told us that we’re going to have to do it on another day. There was actually a concert there, you know, all the performances happening. It took around 2-3 hours for the concert to end and we slept on that day, but not before cleaning myself up and brushing my teeth. And then I slept comfortably and the day ends with a drowsy me.
