The annual event of SMAN 15 Surabaya namely Liberty has now entered its 8th year in 2019 with the theme "Aetherealm" which was held on 15 November at the Jatim Expo Surabaya. The event was attended by many diverse people ranging from teenagers to the elderly

This year's Liberty truly exudes a different euphoria from previous years with the legendary guest stars Indonesia, Didi Kempot and Kahitna who succeeded in bringing up the atmosphere of the Liberty. There is also the appearance of a Reality Club which is an indie rock genre group that also enlivens Liberty.

The Liberty opens with the performances of talented dance and singing contestants and passes to the final stage. Besides that, there were also performances from students of SMAN 15 Surabaya who represented their extracurricular activities

"The event’s was very interesting especially Didi Kempot because nowadays there are rarely young people who like songs like that" said one grandfather who unexpectedly attended the Liberty. In the future it is expected that Liberty will be livelier and will always be there every year.
